Morgan Locksmiths in Ipswich were called out today by a customer in the town who had an issue with their UPVC conservatory door. As always we were there promptly, within 30 mins of receiving the call. The UPVC door mechanism on the door lock had become faulty as the spring that sends the latch forward had broken.
Unfortunately you can’t get individual parts for these locking mechanisms so a new gearbox was supplied and fitted. This mechanism is one that we carry on our locksmith vans as standard, so were were able to change the gearbox in one visit, so our customers can now use the UPVC door and most importantly, lock it!
